In consideration of being permitted by Blooming Palate, LLC to participate in a private cooking class, I hereby waive, release and discharge Blooming Palate, LLC and Kalyn Lapidus of any and all claims for damages or personal injury, death, or property damage which I or my child may have or which may hereafter accrue as a result of my participation in said activity.

This release is intended to discharge, in advance, Blooming Palate, LLC, its officers, directors, members, managers, and Kalyn Lapidus and all other members of its cooking school staff whether contracted or employed or volunteering, from and against any and all liability arising out of or connected to in any way with any participation in said activity.

I understand there are numerous inherent risks associated with participating in any cooking activities, including but not limited to using sharp knives, operation of a hot stove, boiling water, hot oil, oven, and operating kitchen equipment. I give permission for my child to participate in all cooking activities, including baking, sautéing, chopping, and handling various kitchen tools and ingredients. I acknowledge that accidents can happen despite all safety precautions taken.

I acknowledge that my child has no known physical, emotional, or mental problems or limitations associated with my child’s participation in cooking camp activities except as disclosed by me in writing to Blooming Palate. I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the appropriate person (such as the instructor, event hosts, or camp staff) of emergency medical information and have informed the instructor of any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions for myself or my child.

By signing this Waiver, I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Hold Harmless Agreement, Waiver and Release and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Blooming Palate, LLC and any owner or staff member of the cooking class whether contracted or employed.

RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION: I, on behalf of my child, hereby release and waive any claim or prospective claim of liability by my child or by me on behalf of my child, against Blooming Palate, their employees, and agents, with respect to any injuries, illness, damage, or death occurring to my child while he or she participates in any and all camp activities. I also understand that this Waiver of Liability and Release binds my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns as well as myself.
